Arkanoid

Many people are familiar with the classic game “Arkanoid”. For my studies I had to fulfill the task to develop an “Arkanoid” clone. There were fixed specifications about what features the game should have. These include: some power-ups, a score that increases when blocks are destroyed and lives that are subtracted when you lose the ball.

Unlike the other projects, this one was finished pretty quickly, as I was already able to gain some experience in Unity and improve my programming skills a lot at that point. It was very helpful to know what exactly to include in the game. This showed me how important it is to have a concept and plan projects. Even if something changes during the development, you should keep a record of it.
